The Dun & Bradstreet business expectations survey showed employment expectations at their highest level in more than seven years. It said, competition for new staff and its effect on wages were issues most likely to affect business conditions into the middle of the year. Twenty seven per cent of companies expect wages growth to be the primary influence their business, up two percentage points from the previous month.
